Yes, and I'm actually glad the tour is canceled, cause then he'll
get the rest he need.
it calmed me down that a few singers have done the same surgery.. but still.

Laut Medienberichten muss sich Bill einer Operation an den Stimmlippen unterziehen. Dort hat sich in Folge einer Infektion eine mit Flüssigkeit gefüllte Zyste gebildet, die abgetragen werden muss. Diese Operation ist ein Routineeingriff, der täglich in HNO-Kliniken und Phoniatrien in Vollnarkose durchgeführt wird und etwa 20-25min dauert. Die Gefahr, dass sich die Stimme durch den Eingriff dauerhaft verschlechtert, ist sehr gering. Allerdings ist nach der Operation eine Woche Stimmruhe und weitere Wochen der Schonung nötig, so dass die restlichen Konzerttermine der aktuellen Europatour und die der USA-Tour im April wohl nicht zu halten sind.
Tokio-Hotel-Produzent und -Manager David Jost hofft: "dass die Fans Verständnis dafür haben, dass Bills Gesundheit im Vordergrund stehen muss."

According to media reports, Bill has to undergo an operation on his vocal cords. Due to an infection, a fluid filled cyst had formed that has to be removed. This operation is routine which is done daily in many Throat-Nose-Ear clinics and will be done under a full anesthesia which only lasts about 20-25min. The danger that the voice gets permanently damaged during/after the operation is very low. However, you need to rest your voice for at least a week after the operation and further weeks to recover. The rest of the current European tour and the US tour in April don’t look like it'll take place.
Tokio Hotel's manager and producer David Jost hopes: "that the fans will understand that Bill's health has to be put first."
We will put further and definite information about Bill's health and tour reschedule dates here as soon as possible.
